100 days!

Pretty much since the first day of school, Liam has been looking forward to the 100th day of school celebration!  It did not disappoint. He had to glue 100 objects on to a paper. He chose to use these medicine vial flip caps that I'd been collecting for a craft project. No other kid had that for their object, that's for sure! :)
At school they made crowns with different objects. He thought it was pretty cool!
I love all the fun stuff he did in kinder!

Kiddos and Church

These are more photos from earlier in the year from my phone.  In January, Liam started the CTR 5/6 class.  This was bittersweet for me because I LOVED (and he loved) his Sunbeam and CTR 4 teacher, Sister Romney. She always had fabulous lessons and I could always tell how much she really loved the kids.  She was soft, but firm, and taught the class how to be reverent primary children, but still let them have fun.  Such a blessing!
In April, Addy started nursery! I actually missed her first day of nursery being sick and all, but she ran right in to nursery and has never looked back! She loves singing and snacks and playing. Who wouldn't, right? I tried to take a photo of her on her first day of nursery, but she rebelled. The photos still came out pretty cute.

I'm ashamed that I'm still uploading photos from my phone from the last 6 months onto blogger.  And Liam actually just got his purple belt, so that shows how outdated this is. :( Better late than never, right?

He worked so hard to learn all the katas for his orange belt and he was so thrilled when Papa could be there to see him get it!  We were very proud. He got to pick his choice for dinner: Popeye's Chicken.

Mother's Day Picnic

We had such a nice Mother's Day this year.  We decided we wanted to be low-key and relaxed and headed to Lazy 5 park for a BBQ/picnic.  It definitely didn't disappoint. The kids had a great time, the weather was perfect, the food delicious, the company great.  Liam loved playing baseball and all the kids had a fun time playing with the bubbles.

Nurse of Achievement Dinner

This year I was honored to be nominated by my boss for the Rookie of the Year category for the Northern Nevada Nurse of Achievement. I was so shocked and honored just to be nominted. Wes and my mom attended the dinner with me and we had a good time. It was fun to get all dressed up and have a nice dinner, as well as see so many nurses in the community together. There are so many great nurses that I look up to, my mom being one, and it was a great evening.

Beep! Beep!

This was one of the best yard sale purchases I have made. When I was working night shift last year, one early Saturday on my way home I spotted this little car. I know Izzy and Peyton love theirs so I snatched it up! It has become Addy's very favorite toy to play with in the backyard. She calls it her 'beep! beep!' and gets in and out immediately when she goes in the backyard. It's so cute and I love how much she loves it.
