Happy Easter
Blogger has changed it's formatting again, so hopefully this post works out! We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. Liam was *so* excited to find his basket. The Easter Bunny hid it in the cabinet with glass doors under the island. Liam is a terrible looker so he thought it'd be tough. Liam went out before mom and dad and spotted it right away and showed Nana, "Look where that bunny hid my basket!" Silly kiddo. He and Addy both loved their basket of goodies. They tried on their new swimwear and goggles. We all went to church together after Addy had her first adventure getting her hair curled (she did very well. :) After church we went to the Annual Y-town hunt. Unfortunately the kids were split up this year so I only had photos of Addy on my camera from the hunt. She did great and got lots of eggs. Liam was still bummed he didn't find that golden egg. One year we will! We had a very yummy dinner and flew kites after dinner. It was a really beautiful Easter Sunday!

Pre-Easter Fun!
With the crummy sickness I'd been having, I was REALLY looking forward to Easter, getting out of town, spending some quality time with family and just having fun. The weekend did not disappoint!
Saturday morning was spent with mom, dad, Larry, Heather, Shaawn, Peyton, Izzy and Pam. My parents put on their annual Easter Egg hunt for the kids. I think they had the most fun with the silly string. Addy, however, REALLY hated it. She screamed when they sprayed her. Otherwise, she had a blast hunting for eggs with the big kids.
Addy discovered her love of peeps and candy... It's all hidden now!
We also enjoyed a fun afternoon full of egg dyeing (Peyton was by far the most enthusiastic), baking of unicorn poop cookies, and making chocolates with Pam. We had so much fun!
The kidlets topped it off with a party in Nana's 'pool'.
That night, the sneaky Easter bunny let me snap a photo of the kids' baskets before he hid them...

Piano!
We had been wanting to get Liam involved in piano for quite a while. Most piano teachers in the area won't take kids until they are 8, but I knew he'd really love it and it'd be good for him. My friend Emilee mentioned that she had been teaching a 6 year old and I jumped at the opportunity. Liam LOVES it and he's really pretty musically inclined. He loves practicing and it is coming very naturally to him. I'm so thankful that we are able to have a piano in our home (thank you, Aunt Pam) for him to practice on and for a friend willing to teach him. I think he looks so cute when he plays!

A Baby!
This isn't an announcement, because everyone knows our big news, but I hadn't officially blogged it, and now that I'm sort of feeling better, I feel like blogging again!
It's true, we are expecting baby #3! The baby is due on 10-11-12. I'm just about 14 weeks. To say this has been my most difficult pregnancy to date would be quite the understatement. It's been 8 weeks of being in bed, throwing up, gagging at every smell, being the in the ER with a migraine and dehydration, a retroplacental blood clot that classified the pregnancy as a 'threatened miscarriage'.
Through all of that, we have been blessed. The blot clot has resolved by 70% and I'm finally starting to feel better. It's going to take some time to recover from basically having the stomach flu for 8 weeks, but we're on the road to recovery. Sweet members of our ward have brought us meals. My mom came and spent the weekend doing my laundry. My job has been wonderful with the work I've had to miss. The kids and Wes have been so understanding through all of it, and best of all, our baby has a nice strong heartbeat and we're so excited to meet him/her next fall.

We got to have a couple of ultrasounds because the doc wanted to check on the blood clot, so I have a few photos to share.
Here is our little one at 8 weeks:
And again at about 10 weeks:
I am starting to get a tiny little baby bump. Here it is at 13.5 weeks.
So, yep, that's where I've been hanging out the last few months. The only photos I'm really behind on are phone pics because I haven't taken many photos in the last few months. We'll find out on May 8 if we are having a boy or a girl (although, we all have a strong feeling it's a boy-- we'll see!)
