Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from Luke Skywalker, a Mermaid, and Dash Incredible!

We had a wonderful Halloween. We made our annual stops at GG and Grandpa-Great's and Brent and Elise's before heading off on our annual hayride. We were so glad Nana and Papa could join us for the hayride again this year.

Finn turns 3 and Addy turns 5!

This was probably the last year I'll get away with doing a combined birthday party for Addy and Finn, but they love it and don't know the difference and it makes it much easier on me! hah!

This year Finn wanted a monster truck party and Addy wanted a mermaid party. We decided to make it an M&M theme- mermaids and monster trucks! It was so much fun. We just invited family and a few friends and I made cupcakes.  Everyone had a great time!

A few things about Finn at 3:
-He's determined- if he wants something, he doesn't need anyone else to do it for him, he can do it himself!
-He loves cars and trucks.
-He knows all of his shapes, colors, numbers, etc. He's working on his letters and sounds.
-He's daddy's little buddy.
-He loves to 'hunt' with Papa and go for ranger rides.
-He LOVES his pink keekee (his blanket that my sister actually made for Addy that he adopted.) He never goes anywhere without it.
-He loves the movie The Incredibles. He also love Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Grinch.
-He warmed up to nursery at church, just in time to move on to primary for the new year.
-He loves to swim.

A few things about Addy at 5:
-She's a girly girl that loves her accessories.
-She sleeps with my old Winnie the Pooh every single night.
-She's definitely a mini me for mama- and a mama's girl. But she says Daddy is her prince charming.
-Her favorite princess is Ariel.
-She loves to paint, draw and craft.
-She's learned about half of her letters.
-She loves Primary!
-She loves to sing Disney songs.
-She is a snuggle bug.

Monkey Bars

Addy worked really hard to master the monkey bars all summer long! She's a monkey all right!

Fourth Grade

 
I still can't believe I have a big fourth grader. Liam started fourth grade at the beginning of August. Thankfully, the program he is in has the same teacher for the 3/4 class, so he was able to settle right in to his old routine. We LOVE his teacher and the program and he even had some of the same friends in his class. He seemed to settle into his organization and routine much easier this year. He even got student of the month his very first month of school. I'm so proud of this young man! He's such an incredible kid. We love him so much. He's so kind, smart and optimistic. Thanks for being such an awesome fourth grader, Liam.
