Happy Birthday, My Sweet Boy!

I can't believe my baby is TWO!! He had a wonderful birthday today. It started off great--with church and his fun new 'busy book' from the Finlays. He then went to nursery and played and played with his little friends and also learned about the temple. After church he told me he wanted to go to the temple, so we did, after his nap of course.

After his nap, he was reminded he had his own 'park' in his backyard and wanted to play for a bit, in his new birthday clothes from Aunt Pam. Here he is trying out the swings that daddy got set up for him while he was sleeping.
Then we headed up to the temple where he loved singing "sunbeam!"

When we got home, we let Liam pick his dinner. We also made him Chocolate Milk for a first time birthday treat. Boy did he love it(who wouldn't, right?)Eating his homemade pizza and drinking his chocolate milk. A very healthy birthday dinner, right?After bath, he decided he needed to play on his park even more, so he played for a bit in his jammies.

Now he's peacefully sleeping after a nice second birthday. :) Hopefully I'll get the party pics a bit more organized and be able to post them within the week or so. Thank you to everyone who made Liam's second birthday so special.

Happy Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day, everyone!! We hope you had a great day! We had a good one. :) This morning we stayed home and got ready for our big yard sale tomorrow and took some cute photos of our boy. Our Firecracker. Then this afternoon we went to our friend Joshua's birthday party! We had a blast with BBQ food, an awesome play place and swimming pool fun!

All American Cuties

Aren't these little ones some of the cutest blonde haired, blue eyed, American kidlets you've ever seen? Heather brought Izzy over the other day and both kids were dressed in their Patriotic best. Cute, eh?

Happy 3rd Anniversary, Schnuckieputz!

Three years ago today, Wes and I were sealed in the Portland, OR temple. I can't believe it!
We were talking about things last night and how it seems like the time has just sped by, but at the same time, it feels like we've been married forever and can't really remember life before marital bliss. :)


It seems like something monumental has happened every year we've been together, so here's a little walk down memory lane.

Here we are, shortly after we were engaged, attending our first year of college and being super busy wedding planners.

Our awesome friends in our wedding party. (notice the cool heart shape?) Shortly after we were married, right before my sister's wedding which was three weeks after ours.
We take a picture every anniversary in front of a temple before we go out to eat together, but for some reason, I can't find the amazing pictures we took on our first anniversary (Wes took some amazing maternity shots that day as well). I was VERY pregnant and we enjoyed our nice, last kid free date night at the Hilton Steakhouse. So, instead of the temple picture, you get a picture of the monumental event that happened 2 weeks after our first anniversary.Here we are on our second anniversary. I actually think we went to Red Lobster, which is where we went last year on our anniversary as well. And here we are today. We celebrated with sending Liam to the baby-sitter, Wes taking a vacation day and just relaxing and enjoying the day to ourselves-- Red Lobster included.
This next year will be crazy with nursing school and whatnot, but so far, life is only getting better, so I can't wait to see what it will bring. We're so lucky to have found such happiness with eachother so young in life. We feel very blessed.
