Happy Birthday, Addy!

I can't believe my sweet little girl is 2! We celebrated her birthday with a little family lunch after church on Sunday. We had her favorite food, pizza, and a kitty cat cake! We did a little kitty cat theme because Addy is in love with kitties. When we walk to and from school for Liam, we search for kitties because we have quite a few in our neighborhood. Addy is SO excited when she sees one! The only way we got her cake done was with Nana and Daddy's help holding Finn and entertaining the little guys, as well as artistic inspiration!
Here are a few things about Adelyn at TWO! -She LOVES accessories. Especially shoes. She loves purses, necklaces, hair bows, you name it. She especially loves her cowgirl boots. -She can count to about 15 all by herself. -She can say entire prayers all by herself. -She loves animals- in theory. She likes to look at them, but if they make noise or come near her, she freaks out. -She always LOVES when we pick up Liam. She greets him with a very sweet, "Hi, Liam! How was school today?" -She is stubborn. Apparently she got that from me. I'm not so sure about that. ;) -She loves her baby brother. She calls him "Addy's Boy" or "Addy's Baby Finny." -She's a good eater. She loves cucumbers and pizza. -She's still a big time thumb sucker at night. Darn it! Too bad it's so darn cute! -She loves to give and blow kisses and is such a happy girl. So, those are just a few random tidbits! Onto the birthday girl. This is the true birthday girl before church. :)

Fall!

The kids had SO MUCH fun jumping in a pile of leaves that daddy raked for them.  These are probably some of my favorite fall photos I've ever taken!

First Bath

Finn's umbilical cord fell off on his two week birthday!  He LOVED his first bath and the big kids were VERY eager to help!

I Love to See the Temple

The last Sunday Wes's mom was here, we had every intention of heading to church, but Finn had a bad night, then Addy was up a bunch, and 9am church just didn't happen. Go figure. So, we decided to take the kids up to the temple instead. It was a beautiful day and I always love taking the kids there to have the opportunity to teach them about the temple. We also got some cute photos.

The Pumpkin Patch

While Wes's mom was here, we took a little trip to the pumpkin patch! Initially Judy was just going to take the big kids until I found out and wanted to tag along. I LOVE the pumpkin patch, I LOVE fall, I LOVE fall pictures. You get the idea. :D Finn wasn't quite ready to go... Addy loved the animals until a goat neighed right in front of her. Then she became scared of everything. But, she did have a lot of fun picking out a pumpkin and Liam had a blast going through the corn maze with daddy!

General Conference and My Sweeties

I was so excited that Finn came before General Conference so that I had a sweet newborn to snuggle while we watched. The moment did not disappoint! One of my favorite conference moments was taking Finn's picture with Dieter F. Uchtdorf while he was speaking. He, of course, had to wear his tie for the picture. I think we need to send this photo to President Uchtdorf. And after a few days home, I finally got a photo of my sweet babies all together. It was definitely a sweet moment.
