Easter!

We had a jam-packed and blissfully fun Easter weekend! We started out the weekend by dying eggs at my sister's house on Friday night. Finn loved his first Easter egg. He just wanted to lick it constantly. :)

 The next morning we went to GG's house for my parents' egg hunt where they have the kids hunt for their color eggs filled with treats! The kids had a blast!  Addy was a little distraught when she learned her color wasn't pink, but she was soon pacified that she get purple. :) Girls, I tell ya. ;)  We did it in Reno because my dad left to Argentina for a hunting trip and my mom was already in town. The kids had so much fun all helping eachother. It was so cute!

It's been blowing my mind how grown up these kids are looking lately!





That evening, we headed out to Nana's. We decided to have some more fun and dye some more eggs. :)  I got a kit with glitter, which was super fun.  For some reason, Easter egg dying brings out the kid in me.

That night the Easter bunny came and filled up their baskets! Nana also got a basket full of peeps!  Who knew it was the celebration year for 50 years of Peeps!


The next morning the kids had to hunt for their baskets. Addy found hers pretty quickly but that Easter bunny was pretty tough on Liam. He did find it eventually with a little help from mom and dad.





Finn was pretty happy with his basket, too!

Addy loved her new bunny baby and the bunny pancakes I made for breakfast. They were really easy and very fun!


It was quite a chore to get pics in our Easter best, but they turned out pretty well considering it was pouring rain for the morning. We were grateful for the rain, even if it was inconvenient for it to be on Easter.  However, we all made it to church and enjoyed the Easter program.






Then the cousins headed out to Yerington and we went to the egg hunt.

Addy was head over heels in love with the Easter bunny. It was so cute. And the end of the hunt, she just ran over and stood right next to him. She also loved the egg hunt and kept handing out her eggs to other kids.  I don't have any pictures of Liam hunting because he was on the other field with Wes so those pics are on his phone. However, Izzy was SO CLOSE to finding the golden egg! Darn it. At least we've actually seen it now.







And the rest of the day was filled with a yummy meal, the kids trying on their new swim suits and kite flying!





Phew! No wonder I was tired when we got home. However, I'm so thankful for time spent with family and for time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What a precious gift we have been given!

5 months!

Finn recently turned five months old and continues to be the happiest baby on the block- or world. :) He is constantly giggling and playing and watching the big kids. He loves people, but is perfectly content to roll around on the floor or hang out in his jumperoo. Speaking of which, he LOVES jumping in his jumparoo. He goes crazy in it and has a blast. He has us all giggling! Here are a few pics of Finn this month. I just can't get enough of his cute little double chin and happy smile! I also added in this little comparision at 4months of Finn and Liam in the same outfit. They do look alike, but mostly Finn just looks like Finn. :) We also tried to start him on a few solid foods because he seemed really hungry, but they were an epic fail! He hated them! We'll try again later. :)

Saint Patrick's Day!

We had so much fun dressing in green for church on Saint Patrick's Day! We even had Grandma here to celebrate with us. Here are my sweet little leprechauns!
  

Our Valentine's

Addy's Antics

"Oh, Addy" is a phrase you will frequently hear in our home lately. She is in the full on throws of being two. She does not really throw tantrums, but she is BUSY. And into mischief. She's throwing cereal all over the floor, climbing on the counter to eat chocolate with her bare hands, coloring all over herself and the walls, running crazy, etc, etc, etc. However, she is pretty hilarious! She constantly has us laughing! And she is ALL girl. She has recently discovered disney princesses and loves pretending to be one- here we go! She loves painting her nails and dressing up. She also loves to play power rangers and 'boy stuff' with big brother. She recently started attending a little mom's co-op pre-school and has a BLAST. She learned about rainbows and loved making a pretty rainbow. We also just recently started potty training and she's doing pretty well! She is such a funny, sweet, silly girl who we adore!

Liam Lately

I thought I should do a little update on each of the kids and their recent happenings. (and it probably will be a little brag-fest!) Liam is, as always, loving life. :) He is excelling in school. He recently was awarded the title of 'self manager' which is very difficult to earn. You have to have 10 consecutive days of no late homework, reading folder etc, exceptional behavior with no cards pulled, and then you have to get signatures from different faculty throughout the school vouching that you have earned the title and write a paragraph why you think you earned self manager. We are so proud of our boy! He also continue to excel academically. He goes to a third grade class for all of his reading, spelling and vocabulary. He is in Mr. Bosco's top reading and spelling groups as well. He continues to amaze me with his spelling abilities. He has never gotten less than 19/20 on a spelling test and he has words like earthquake, friendship, sometimes, because, etc. However, Liam reports that his very favorite subject is math. At recess he loves to play soccer, power rangers, and basketball. He has fun in everything he does! He is still doing karate and will be testing next month for his blue belt. He loves to do any and all activities and always has plans for us of things we can do as a family. :) He and Daddy built a leprechaun trap for school for St. Patty's day! They had so much fun designing it and building it together.! He is truly a fabulous and patient big brother. He is always thinking about Addy and Finn and is so patient with them. He is truly a love bug and we are so proud of him!

Growing, Growing!

Since, I'm so far behind, I decided to put both the three and four month photos of our Finnster man in one post. Here is his three month photo. He started rolling around across the room at about 3 1/2 months- way too young in my opinion. I thought it might be a fluke, but he's still going strong. He was at that time, and continues to be, seriously the happiest baby ever!! He smiles any time you look at him. We adore him!
He thinks life is pretty hilarious! And he loves his whale mobile that I made him. At four months, not too much had changed with our sweet guy. He had his check up and weighed 14lbs 2 oz(50th percentile) and was 26 inches long (95th percentile). He has had a bit of a sleep regression and is waking up once a night or so. He's growing like a weed. He loves his brother and sister. He continues to be the happiest baby I've ever met. Here are he and his big brother one evening too. They love each other so much!!
