Total Genius or Fashion Victim?

Here is Liam's new fun thing! He's known "six" for a quite a while, but he's learning more numbers now, too! He's learning and growing so much everyday!
I let Liam pick his clothes out one day last week when we weren't going anywhere. Then he absolutely insisted that he wear his church shoes. I think his Auntie would be very disappointed. He is a definite fashion victim

G.G. has the Key to Liam's Heart

G.G brought Liam some gelly Valentine's Day window clings today. What a hit! He loves rearranging them on the windows. At first he wanted to eat them, but now he understands what to do. Anytime anyone comes to the door Liam yells "G.G" thinking she's here or when we get in the car he says "G.G." in hopes that we are going to her house. He is sure lucky to have such a fun Great Grandma to play with him and watch him so often. She definitely holds the key to his heart, but I think he holds the key to hers, too.

What a Week...

A wonderful week, that is!!

Sunday night my sister went into labor. I got to be at the hospital with them until sweet little Isabelle was born at 3:38 am. :) I got to be in the room and it was one of the most incredible moments for me. I am so thankful for that opportunity, but even more thankful for a beautiful, healthy niece. Izzy weighed 7lbs 2 oz and was 21 inches long. Exactly the same as Liam. We are having so much fun going over to visit her. Liam loves her and is gentle and will give her kisses, but he has more interest in her cool baby toys, like the swing, but has a hard time understanding that he is a bit too big for it. :) Silly boy. We had to also help him understand that he can't drive cars on her head, just yet.

After recovering from the night at the hospital, the next night was a long night, as Liam has been having night terrors on occasion. So we were up a good majority of the night with him. It's so heartbreaking to know he's so scared. He was just clinging to me, which is so unlike him, so I knew he must be scared. Between Izzy's birth and Liam's night terrors, it has been one tiring week.

We are so happy and overjoyed to have Izzy in our family. I just know that she and Liam will be the best of friends.

Although it's been a tiring week, Liam always keeps us laughing. Whether it be yelling "Hello" to everyone he sees or sticking one finger in each nostril, we are constantly giggling over here!

Hopefully, now, I will have a bit of time to figure out how to get our blog going. It will be a much easier way to keep everyone updated with our happenings and photos.

Our Update:

We had a fantastic Christmas and Liam was spoiled rotten. We had a great time at Nana and Papa's the weekend before Christmas and then we enjoyed Christmas morning at home. The day after Christmas we headed to Washington and Liam got to spend some time with his Grandma and Grandpa. We were also very happy to get to visit the temple a couple of times while there. It is always wonderful to visit the temple we were married in.

Then we went to Washington! Here Liam is opening gifts with Grandma. Then he visited her at the post office. She weighed hi, but he was a bit too wiggly to get an accurate reading!

Then we got to visit with Jana and Aaron. Jana was my maid of honor! We have only seen eachother twice since Germany and that was at eachother's weddings. It was really fun to be able to hang out with them. Then we visited the duck pond and Liam loved looking at the ducks and saying "Quack! Quack!"

We also got to do sealings with Wes's parents and Ben one evening. We had a great time. The atrium in the temple was beautiful with poinsettas. I also took this great shot of the temple when we got out. It was a wonderful time!

Well, that concludes our first official blog. Sorry the pictures are all scattered and funny. I've got to figure out an easier way to format them. But, for now, this should do. Happy New Year!

I've been wanting to do this for quite a while to keep up with family and friends all over the place. I also thought it would be a great place to post pictures. Hopefully, I'll get this down and be able to keep you all updated!
