Swimming lessons!

For their birthdays, both Liam and Addy got swimming lessons from my mom and dad. We had so much fun watching them swim swim swim!  They took lessons at deer park, the same place my mom did when she was a kid!













And Finn tried to break into the pool from playing in the park with dad while the kiddos swam:
 

Happy Birthday, Liam!

I can't believe my baby is eight! So so so crazy to me!  Here are a few favorites of Liam at eight years old:

For his birthday we had a low key pool party at Aunt Bethy's Apartment complex.  Cousins and GG and Grandpa Great and Nana and Papa joined us. Nana helped Liam bake his cake. He chose a camo cake with orange frosting and decorated it with legos himself. We went to toys r us and he chose his birthday gift- a lego movie lego set. He pooled his money to purchase it and was diligent in getting it put together. We had such a fun birthday all together!

Random Snapshots from Washington!

Here are just some random photos from our Washington trip.  The girls watched the kids while we were in the sealing and they took some cute photos of the kids in the visitors' center. Liam had fun sleeping in random places, including outside on the trampoline all night. I can't believe he made it all night out there with the girls.  Addy had fun baking with Kisha. We also had a super fun BBQ with Fred and Heidi and Jamie and Bethany. It was fun to hang out with friends. The kids had a blast with their kids. And I had to snap some photos of the Tacoma bridge for Liam since he learned all about it in his bridge unit in GT.

9 years!

We decided to take a little overnight trip to Seattle (just Wes and I) to celebrate our nine year anniversary!  First, since we do an annual photo in front of the temple for each of our anniversaries, I want to repost the one one in front of our temple. :) This is the first year we've been able to take a photo near our anniversary at the temple we were actually sealed in.


We had a wonderful night in Seattle. We ended up staying on Bainbridge Island and taking the Ferry to Seatlle for dinner. We ate at a crab shack on the pier and then we walked up to Anthropologie just for fun. I honestly think my favorite part was riding the ferry though. It is SO gorgeous to ride and feel the breeze and see the city- really peaceful. The next day we got up and road the ferry again and enjoyed Pike Street Market. I'd love to go back another time when I could really take a whole day and wonder through that. It was so fun!  Then grandma, Beth, Cristina and the kids came up and met us at the Aquarium. We had a lot of fun enjoying that with the kiddos. Then it was time to head home. It was a quick trip, but one I am thankful for nonetheless. Thankful for time with my honey and to see a city I've been wanting to see for a long time.
